What We Expect
From Our Reporters

1

Submit one field interview per week to maintain your active reporter status. Interviews can be with players, coaches, or tournament directors — video, audio, or written format accepted.

2
Monthly Group Meetings

Attend monthly virtual meetups with the USSSA content team and fellow reporters. These are part training, part community — you'll learn from each other and from us.

3
Professional Standards

Represent USSSA with integrity. All content must be respectful, factual, and appropriate for a youth sports audience. You are the face of the network in the field.

4
Active USSSA Membership

Must be an active USSSA player or coach in good standing throughout your time in the program. 13–18 years old to apply as a player reporter.

5
Complete Onboarding

All accepted reporters complete a short onboarding training covering USSSA's content standards, interview best practices, and how to use the submission portal.
